The UFV Institute for Forgiveness is dedicated to promoting research and intervention on forgiveness in various fields and contexts, both nationally and internationally. To this end, it fosters interdisciplinary research initiatives, academic outreach activities, and international collaborative networks, adopting a rigorous and inclusive approach that is open to reality and scientific knowledge.
Research
The group conducts research and intervention projects on forgiveness and conflict resolution in various contexts, combining applied programs, instrument validation, and doctoral dissertations through an interdisciplinary approach.
Training
She offers workshops and talks designed to explore the value of forgiveness as a tool for personal and relational growth. These include sessions focused on self-forgiveness, forgiveness within a relationship, the practice of forgiveness in daily life, and its psychological value, as well as educational sessions dedicated to the transformative power of forgiveness and gratitude.
Collaboration
It collaborates with various national and international organizations, including institutes specializing in the study of forgiveness, schools, nursing homes, and correctional facilities, with the aim of developing research, training, and intervention initiatives in different social contexts.
