Family Studies Center

The Center for Family Studies aims to study and analyze the institution of the family from a multidisciplinary perspective—psychological, legal, social, economic, theological, and social work.

The overall objective is broken down into the following specific objectives:

• Conduct an assessment of the situation of families in Spain.

• Design and implement scientific research projects on the family from a multidisciplinary perspective.

• Organize conferences, seminars, and exhibitions as a means of sharing knowledge and shaping public opinion.

• Advise the government on legislative policies that affect families.

• Collaborate with public and private organizations in conducting studies on the state of families in Spain.

• Publish and disseminate research.

• Organize courses and provide training on family-related issues (por ejemplo, el Máster en Mediación Familiar).
