Interlibrary Loan

What is it?

This service is aimed at teaching and research staff (PDI), students, and technical, management, administrative, and service staff (PTGAS). Interlibrary loan (PIB) offers the possibility of consulting journal articles, monographs, and other documents not available in our collection.

Before making a request, please note that libraries do not lend complete issues of journals, reference works (enciclopedias, diccionarios, etc.), or old or rare copies through the GDP.

How do you access GDP?

Ensure that the document is not in our library collection and/or digital collection. To do this:

  • Perform a preliminary search through ARGO.
  • If the document is not there but is referenced, select Request item.
  • A form will appear with the complete bibliographic data, and you will only need to enter your contact information.
  • You will receive an email confirming that the request is in progress.

If it is a digital document, you will receive a copy by email. If it is a physical document, once the request has been processed and received, we will inform you about the procedure, the collection location, and the return deadline.

The person in charge of this service is Marina Diaz.

The UFV Library, represented by Marina Díaz, has been part of the REBIUN Document Access Group since 2023, and part of the ICAC Agreement since 2021.
